The Bunk house was a building that was origionally built there by the pioneers.
The Wash House was cool. It was also and original. Jonathan didn't understand how they could live like they did. I tried to explain to him they we have too much, but he still thinks not having a TV is life threatening!
They also had a museum that was an old school house. They had some pretty cool stuff in there.
A little story. If you look closely you can see that those were two pairs of antlers from two bucks. They were fighting and got tangled up in one another's antlers. They died of strvation because of it.
We grabbed some handcarts to have the experience! We walked 6.9 miles total!
After the hike we had a really good dutch oven dinner!
We made some really cool friends! Billy-Bob the bunny and Lazy-Larry the lizard!
We wanted to see Devils Gate, but we ran out of time and didn't get to see it up close.
Then it was back the the open road. We arrived at the Omaha, Nebraska La Quinta Inn at 2:30 AM Idaho time, and 3:30 In our current time zone.
I'm with Jonathan. Living without modern conveniences does seem life threatening! I don't mind a weekend, but longer than that gets pretty tough. I'm a wimp. Good to see you survived Day 2 and Martin's cove!
